For everything you want to know about greater Brest's light rail line

Located at the heart of the construction area, at 41 rue de Siam in Brest, the Tram information center is the place where the project and information about thte construction is presented.
Isabelle Cabioch and Dominique Le Ster welcome you there from Wednesday to Saturday.
The Tram information center offers educational exhibits and multimedia tools (video, 3D images, etc.), photos and accounts by residents and researchers who explain the changes undergone by the city and conurbation.

Permanent exhibition

Presenting the project, its objectives, the alignment, the mock-up of the light rail line and other major projects for the territory's development and amenities.

Temporary exhibitions

  • Theme-based exhibitions (3 a year): "People, project, territory" lets you follow the construction step by step, from deviating and renovating the grids and networks, to the construction work on the Tramway's roadbed, up to its commissioning for active service.
  • Multimedia exhibitions (2 a year): "A changing face for Brest", telling the story of the the neighborhoods crossed by the line in the past, present and future. Photos, archive films, accounts by residents and researchers, 3D images, etc. 
  • A video viewing room: to see the films made in the neighborhoods, throughout the project.
  • A documentation center: where you will also find all practical documents: Tram newsletters and new flashes, guides, leaflets, maps of the line and traffic maps, insert sheets to show the light rail line in the neighborhoods it crosses, cardboard mock-ups, postcards, etc.

The premises have been designed to welcome people with restricted mobility and those who are visually or hearing-impaired. Special media and tools are available for them. 

Opening hours and accessibility:

The Tram info center team welcomes you:
from Wednesday to Friday, from 10 am to 12:30 and from 2 to 6 pm, and on Saturday from 2 to 6 pm.
